We are Podiatrists/Chiropodists with over 30 years experience and are members of the Health Care Professions Council, (HCPC). The HCPC is a regulatory body for health professionals. We keep our skills and knowledge up to date by regularly attending conferences and courses.
Most medical insurance companies, including BUPA, Prudential, Medicash and HSA will cover podiatry (chiropody) treatment, but please confirm this with your provider prior to treatment.
At Brennan Podiatry, we take pride in offering a holistic foot care experience, addressing a diverse range of foot health problems to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Your privacy is paramount to us. All patient information is treated with utmost confidentiality and is never shared with third parties, including your GP, without your prior consent.
We prioritise your safety by utilising the state-of-the-art SES Little Sister 3 Autoclave system to sterilise all instruments used in our clinic. Your health is our top priority.
For effective treatment of fungal foot infections, we employ the innovative Klenz unit to sanitise patients’ footwear, ensuring hygiene and comfort. A nominal charge of £3.00 applies for this service.
Your well-being is safeguarded through the use of new latex or vinyl gloves for each patient. We maintain the highest standards in equipment, instruments, and dressings to provide you with the best care.
Our commitment to your satisfaction extends to open communication. If you have any concerns or uncertainties about your treatment, our podiatrists/chiropodists are readily available to address and explain any aspects, ensuring your confidence in the quality of care you receive.
Mark Brennan, a 1988 graduate from West Yorkshire University’s Huddersfield School of Podiatry and Chiropody, proudly established ‘Mark Brennan Chiropody’ in his hometown of Moreton in October 1988. Starting in Ashton House, Chadwick St, the practice moved to its current location at 29 Upton Road in 1992.
For six years, Mark contributed to Wirral Community Podiatry Service, serving NHS clinics in Heswall, Eastham, West Kirby, and Mill Lane Wallasey. Simultaneously, he held the role of Secretary for the Merseyside branch of The Society of Podiatrists and Chiropodists, organizing meetings and conferences.
In 1995, Mark joined Arrowe Park’s Wirral Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust as an Advanced Specialist Podiatrist in Diabetes, becoming a recognized Clinical Specialist in diabetic foot complications. Over 20 years in the Diabetic Foot Ulcer Clinic, he lectures nationally, represents the hospital in advisory groups, and played a key role in establishing the Annual Diabetic Foot Screening Programme.
Mark takes immense pride in the reputation of his private podiatry practice, renowned for professionalism. Patients travel from afar, appreciating the exceptional treatment experience. Since 2007, the practice expanded to include complementary health therapies, evolving into one of Wirral’s premier holistic care clinics.
